- Volunteer Development East Lothian is part of a
national network of volunteer centres
- Our aim is to promote and develop volunteering
within East Lothian and help make volunteering a
positive experience for the volunteer, volunteer engaging agency and
the community at large.
What do we do?
- We provide information about volunteering work on
behalf of agencies who engage volunteers.
- We provide access to training for volunteers and
volunteer managers.
- We believe in breaking down barriers to
participation in volunteering.
- We work to recognise and celebrate the work that
volunteers do and respect their views.

- We can assist with other issues which may affect
your voluntary work such as disability, recent illness or lack of
