We also have a number of training rooms available for hire as well as our main hall.  Some recent photos taken of activities currently running in the Centre can be seen below.

We recently carried out a “Have Your Say” survey where we asked local people to give their views on what activities they’d like to see happening in the Centre.  The results of the survey were then used to put on activities at a Taster Day on 12 May where workshops were available in Healthy Cooking and Eating, French, Spanish, Digital Photography, Family History, Indian Head Massage, Aromatherapy and Nice and Easy Exercise.

All who took part in our survey were entered into a prize draw and the winners were chosen at the end of the Taster Day.  The winners were:  Nan Falconer, Mr A M Glasgow, Carole Galloway, Derek Donaldson, Nathalie Coriton, Alan Baillie.  Prizes included gift vouchers for Borders books, Fords and Scotmid.

The Centre was recently used as one of the venues for the 3 Harbours Arts Festival.  Ten local artists exhibited their work and very positive feedback was received from all who visited.
