The Pitstop Café was established in 2009, as a new and innovative approach to training for young adults with additional support needs who reside in East Lothian.

The Pitstop Café work with up to 4 trainers per day on increasing their confidence in the leaning of transferable skills within a catering environment and assist the trainees in moving into paid employment in a mainstream workplace after successful completion of their training.

The Community Development Officer aims to work with local groups and agencies to further develop opportunities in the centre and with the Prestonpans Community to benefit local people.

You may have ideas for groups, courses and activities in your community.  These could include starting up a new group for young people, older people or a healthy lifestyle group.
