What funding is available in East Lothian?
Below are some of the possible funding sources, but ask for advice. There may be others that meet your needs.
Awards for All  

Gives small grants to help small groups. The award grants are between £500 and £10,000, for projects that get people involved in their community.

 

Big Lottery Fund    

A new organisation that will hand out half the money for good causes from the National Lottery.

 

Fresh Futures    

Offers grants to community environmental projects.

 

Heritage Lottery Fund    

Enables communities to celebrate, look after and learn more about our diverse heritage.

 

Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT)    

The CRT is an independent charity, dedicated to the social and economic regeneration of coalfield communities in England, Scotland and Wales.

 

Robertson Trust    

To provide financial support for Scottish charities. The four priority areas for funding are: care, drug prevention and treatment, education and medical (there are other categories for funding)

 

BBC Children In Need Appeal    

For organisations working with disadvantaged children and young people who must be aged 18 years and under, living in the UK

 

Tyne Esk Leader +    

Provides grants that will benefit the rural areas and communities of Midlothian and East Lothian. Eligible areas in East Lothian: Haddington, East Linton, Lammermuir, Tranent, Ormiston, Dunbar and Carberry.
